Students in the Fall

A Poem By Nick Frede

The legend lives on from the summer now gone

as the students return once again,

and the fields of Solanco are turning to gold

as the school year begins for our friends.

Five new students have come and we’re thankful for some

new faces to welcome this fall

So pray that the Lord would be working in them

as He faithfully gathers them all.

Please pray for their hearts as the school year now starts,

pray the Lord would be near every day,

that through all the noise, they would hear His still voice

and be faithful to follow His way. 

Our lessons this fall will be asking them all:

Will you go where the Lord calls to go?

Discerning God’s will is the primary skill

That we hope from the scriptures to show.

When the waters get rough and the way becomes tough,

when the future ahead isn't clear

We can turn to God’s Word and remember the Lord

Is the captain who faithfully steers. 

November will bring an exciting new thing:

High Point Camp’s big event called FALL FEST.

More details to come so you don’t miss the fun,
