Local Partnerships

But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.

Loving our Neighbors

Blurb of our mission for connecting in

  • Bible Adventure at Quarryville Elementary – During the school year, volunteers meet weekly with students for Bible study, Scripture memorization, and godly encouragement.

  • Christmas Decorating Event with Solid Rock – This family fun night decorating cookies and gingerbread houses while celebrating Christ has become a much-anticipated annual tradition.

  • Christmas in Q’ville Outreach – Seasonal fun night where we glorify Christ gives us the opportunity to both serve and have fun with our neighbors.

  • Coats for All – Our team provides coats, jackets, and other warm outerwear for our neighbors.

  • Food Drives for the Solanco Neighborhood Ministries Food Pantry – Showing practical lovingkindness to our neighbors means we help fight against significant food insecurity in this area.

  • Good Neighbors Home Repair – Capable servants help make eligible homeowners safer in their homes.

  • Hope Explored and Christianity Explored at Solanco Neighborhood Ministries – We seek to help people meet and learn more about Jesus in a low-pressure and welcoming manner.

  • Solanco Fair Parade Outreach – As the parade goes right by our doors, we share the love of Christ by serving those who enthusiastically watch the parade.

  • Solid Rock Youth Ministry Programs – A substantial number of Oak Hill Fellowship members serve both on staff and as volunteers at this thriving ministry reaching many families throughout the community by interacting with kids at all ages through programs, by helping with fundraising, by offering specialty programs, by providing snacks or meals during programs, and many other ways.

  • Other Events – We share the gospel as we participate side-by-side with our neighbors in a variety of events–planting colorful pots in the spring or creating Christmas greens arrangements together are a few examples. We actively look for ways to interact joyfully and with servants’ hearts in our community.
