Unfolding the Great Commission
Every other Saturday at 7:30am
Jesus gave us a commission through his disciples: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age" (Matt. 28:18-20). But how are we to carry out this mandate? What does it look like to "make disciples of all nations?" Is this the responsibility of a select few who are "called," or does every believer bear some responsibility?
In mentoring groups, as the men continue series 3 of the "First Principles" series, we are going to learn how the book of Acts describes the unfolding of of Jesus' "great commission" through the early church, and we will derive the principles to do the same in the 21st century.
